Agatha is middle-aged, pushy, crude, short, stocky and totally endearing as she investigates a new series of murders in her small English village. I can't help but love Agatha - how can I resist someone who makes me feel as though I'm a graduate of a Swiss finishing school. If you enjoy cozy mysteries you will probably also like Agatha Raisin - but start with the first of the series to get the full enjoyment.
